Police Kill Terrorist, Recover 33 Cows in Kebbi Operation

In Kebbi, police successfully killed a terrorist associated with livestock rustling during an operation in the farmhouse area. The confrontation involved bandits who had stormed the area, resulting in the police recovering 33 stolen cows.

The operation was conducted by joint forces from the police and the army, who were stationed at the Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Kamba. Following the encounter, a statement from the police public relations officer, Bashir Usman, confirmed that the bandit was killed while others escaped with gunshot injuries.

The recovered cows were returned to their rightful owner. The Commissioner of Police, Umar M Hadejia, commended the prompt response and effective collaboration of the forces involved in the operation, emphasizing ongoing efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
