Akwa Ibom Police Bust Armed Robbery Gang, Recover Weapons

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command successfully dismantled an armed robbery syndicate operating across the state, leading to the arrest of Akan Udo, Namso Mondai, and Mbata Udo. The suspects were apprehended in different villages, with a native doctor allegedly providing cover for the gang.

Recovered items included guns, machetes, generators, and stolen goods. The police are conducting further investigations and will charge the suspects in court.

The Command reassured residents of their commitment to maintaining law and order.
