Akwa Ibom Police Arrest Armed Robbery Gang, Recover Weapons

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has apprehended three suspects linked to a violent armed robbery syndicate responsible for several attacks. The suspects, Akan Udo, Namso Mondai, and Mbata Udo, were arrested in a raid led by DSP Timfon John.

The operation recovered weapons, stolen property, and incriminating items. Commissioner of Police Baba Moham Azar praised the swift response and coordination of the operation, assuring residents of continued security efforts.

The suspects are in custody pending court charges.
