NDLEA and Police in Sokoto Join Forces to Combat Drug Abuse and Crimes

The State Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Sokoto, Mustapha Muhammand Gidado, pledged collaboration with the Police to combat drug trafficking and related crimes. During a visit to the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Musa, Gidado emphasized the crucial link between drug abuse and escalating criminal activities like banditry and kidnapping.

The partnership aims to dismantle drug distribution networks and curb illicit substance use in Sokoto State. The Police Command expressed strong support for the NDLEA's efforts, highlighting the necessity of a joint approach to tackle the drug menace effectively.
