Ondo Police Recover Stolen Vehicle, Arrest Two Suspects

On February 14, 2026, Adeyemi Robert reported the theft of his Toyota Camry saloon car, registered number AH173WWD, after attending a social event on Sijuad Street in Akur, Ondo State. Upon returning from the event, he discovered that his vehicle had been stolen by an unknown person.

Following this report, the Ondo State Police Command initiated an immediate investigation, deploying intelligence-gathering strategies to recover the stolen vehicle and apprehend those responsible. Their efforts proved successful when they traced the vehicle to Awolo Akingbad, where it was found in the possession of a suspect.

Further questioning revealed that the vehicle had been sold, leading to the identification and subsequent arrest of the principal suspect, Adeyemi David. The police continue to investigate the matter.
