Ogun Police Recover Stolen Car, Arrest Two Dealers

On February 18, 2026, at approximately 1:30 AM, armed robbers attacked D'Ultim Hotel located on Sokoto Badagri Road in Atan Ota, Ogun State, stealing valuables from hotel staff, including an unregistered Toyota Matrix car owned by Joseph Bankol. Following the incident, the Ogun State Police Command's Anti-Robbery Unit, led by SP Gbenga Ayodele, initiated an investigation that resulted in the recovery of the stolen vehicle in Lagos on April 15, 2026.

DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, confirmed the arrests of two car dealers connected to the robbery. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to apprehend all individuals involved in the crime.
