Police Rescue Kidnapped Victims in Delta, Arrest Cult Suspect in Separate Operation

The Delta State Police Command conducted a successful rescue operation in Ewu Forest, Ughelli South, rescuing four kidnapped victims from a den. The police also arrested a suspect, Michael Ayauz, believed to be a member of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity during a raid in Ibusa.

The suspect was found with an English Beretta pistol, live ammunition, and assorted charms. The police intensified efforts to apprehend fleeing suspects.

The Commissioner of Police, Aina Adesola, reiterated the command's commitment to combating kidnapping and cultism, urging the public to support law enforcement efforts.
