Kaduna Police Reunite Missing Teenager with Parents

The Kaduna State Police Command has successfully reunited a missing 16-year-old boy, initially identified as Alex Ansol, with his parents. The teenager was found wandering in Dadin Kowa Village, Doguwa Local Government Area, after he lost contact with relatives while visiting his father in Kano.

According to police spokesperson Haruna Kiyawa, the boy arrived in Nigeria via Abuja International Airport on March 30, traveling to Kano to visit his father. However, he lost contact along the Jo Saminaka road.

Following a thorough investigation, it was revealed that the boy's real name is Yusuf Sabiu, and he is the son of Saminu Yusuf, aged 44, from Lere Local Government Area in Kaduna State, and Habiba Alhassan, aged 35, from Plateau State. The police formally handed the teenager over to his parents at the Doguwa Police Division.

The police urged parents and guardians to report missing persons promptly to assist in swift responses and ensure children's safety.
