Gombe Police Deny Burning of ADC Chairman's House

The Gombe State Police Command has officially dismissed reports regarding the burning of the house belonging to Nafiu Gombe, the factional chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). In a statement made on Thursday by DSP Buhari Abdullahi, the police described the online claims as false and a reaction to social media posts by an allegedly angry group.

The police confirmed that there were no records of any fire incidents or attacks on Gombe's residence. Commissioner of Police Umar Ahm Chuso advised residents to ignore the misleading information and assured the public that the police are focused on maintaining peace and safety across the state.

The police emphasized that there has been no breach of security linked to the alleged incident and urged the community to rely on verified information to avoid panic.
