Anambra Police Enhance Security for Soludo's Inauguration

The Anambra State Police Command has announced heightened security measures in preparation for the inauguration of Governor Charles Soludo's second term. Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), revealed that the command is collaborating with various security agencies to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free event.

In a press statement, Ikenga noted that the police command had recently received over a hundred trained personnel, equipped with arms and combat training from the Police College in Oji River. These personnel will complement the strategic deployment across critical locations, enhancing patrols and intelligence gathering to maintain law and order during the inauguration ceremony.

The command has urged residents, stakeholders, and visitors expected at the event to remain law-abiding and cooperate with security personnel. Ikenga reiterated the commitment of the Anambra State Police Command to provide adequate security and ensure the inauguration ceremony is conducted in a peaceful and secure atmosphere.
