ADC Warns APC Against Sabotaging Opposition Parties

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a warning to the All Progressives Congress (APC), accusing it of employing a political strategy that undermines opposition parties, which the ADC describes as self-destructive. Baba Ahm Abdullahi, the ADC's spokesman, highlighted that the APC's actions contribute to the shrinking of Nigeria's democratic space.

This criticism follows recent developments within the People's Redemption Party (PRP), where speculation arose about potential factionalism after the PRP leadership, led by its national chairman, visited ADC leadership. Abdullahi argued that the APC's denial of involvement in internal crises within opposition parties is increasingly evident and cautioned that such tactics could lead to instability in the nation.

He emphasized that when people are left with no options, the political strategy of sabotaging opposition platforms could ultimately backfire on the APC.
