Dua Lipa Declines Performance at Joshua vs. Fury Fight

Pop star Dua Lipa has declined an offer to perform at the highly anticipated heavyweight boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, which is being targeted for late 2026 in Saudi Arabia. Earlier reports indicated that Dua Lipa was among the major music acts considered for the event, which aims to blend sports and entertainment.

The chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al Sheikh, had floated the idea of involving major music acts to promote the bout. However, BBC Sport has confirmed that Dua Lipa, known for her global hits, will not be part of the event.

The fight between Joshua, aged 36, and Fury, aged 37, is expected to be one of the biggest boxing events in history, with discussions ongoing about potential dates and venues, including Wembley Stadium. Negotiations for the fight continue, with promoter Frank Warren suggesting that Joshua's next performance could be pivotal in keeping the fight plans alive.
