LGAN Hosts 3rd Interclub Golf Championship in Port Harcourt

The Ladi Golf Association Nigeria (LGAN) is set to host its 3rd interclub golf championship from May 13 to May 16 at the Port Harcourt Club 1928 in Rivers State. The championship, themed "Swing Bold, Play Brilliant," is recognized as a world amateur golf ranking event and is sponsored by First Bank Nigeria Limited alongside corporate partners.

LGAN President Lami Onayi Ahm described the championship as a platform to promote friendship, discipline, healthy rivalry, and the growth of women's golf in Nigeria. The competition aims to help discover talent and encourage greater female participation in the sport nationwide.

The event schedule includes arrival, practice rounds, a flag hoisting ceremony, a cocktail reception, and a creative dress approved for the opening round. The final round on May 16 will feature players in tournament tee shirts and white bottoms.

A fixed caddy fee of N5,000 will be charged during the championship, and prizes will be awarded immediately after the final group completes play.
