Nigerian Singer Portable Regains Freedom After Week-Long Detention (Video)

Nigerian singer Portable, also known as Habeeb Okikiola, has been freed after spending a week in police custody on charges including assault, theft, and resisting arrest. The singer was brought before a magistrate court in Ota, Ogun State, where he was accused of stealing a Mercedes Benz E300 valued at 12 million Naira.

Despite being denied bail, a viral video captured his release with jubilant celebrations from his associates. Portable's manager, Babi Luv, and his first wife, Bewaji, stood by him throughout the ordeal.

This is not the first time Portable has faced legal issues since rising to fame in 2022, with multiple arrests and remands across different correctional facilities in Kwara, Ogun, and Lagos states.
