Portable to Rematch Charles Okocha After Carter Efe Loss

Portable, a street pop singer, is scheduled to face actor Charles Okocha in a boxing rematch on July 31 at Balmor Convent Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. This bout follows Portable's recent defeat to comedian Carter Efe, which marked his first loss in celebrity boxing.

The match against Efe took place at Balmor Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, where Efe outclassed Portable across three rounds, with judges scoring the contest 30-27 in favor of Efe. This defeat ended Portable's unbeaten streak in celebrity boxing.

The upcoming rematch with Okocha is a continuation of their rivalry that began in 2023, when Portable accused Okocha of cheating in a business deal involving 40 million naira. The first encounter between Portable and Okocha ended with Portable being declared the winner after four rounds, but Portable has since questioned the fairness of that outcome, leading to the scheduled rematch.
