Portuguese Ambassador Commends Cross River's Sports Tourism Investment

The Portuguese Ambassador to Nigeria, Paulo Martin Santo, along with other dignitaries, lauded the Cross River State Government's significant investment in sports tourism at the 20th edition of the Calabar Carnival. Governor Bassei Otu declared the carnival open, emphasizing the promotion of biker tourism.

The event attracted positive feedback from attendees, including 87-year-old Richard Chima Nzerem, who described it as a dream come true. The carnival aims to boost tourism in Cross River State and Nigeria in general.
