Super Falcons Begin Camp in Yaoundé for Friendlies

The Super Falcons have arrived at their training camp in Yaoundé, Cameroon, as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations. Currently, 11 players, including captain Rasheedat Ajibade, Oluwatosin Demehin, Christi Ucheibe, Mondai Gift, Ngozi Okobi, Okeoghen Ogbonna, Glori Christoph, Preciou Omewa, Joi Onyenezid, Esther Oloko, Fatima Nkwocha, and Favour, have joined the camp.

The team is expected to have a total of 14 players present. Their first training session is scheduled for later on Wednesday.

The Super Falcons will face the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in their first friendly match on Saturday, followed by a second friendly match the following Tuesday. The team has been drawn in Group C for the tournament, alongside Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt, while Cameroon will compete in Group D with Cape Verde, Ghana, and Mali.
