Present property documents within two-week period ordered by Ogun govt – Court tells Sen. Daniel

The Ogun State High Court in Sagamu has ordered former Governor Gbenga Daniel to present property documents requested by the state government within a two-week period. The directive was given during the hearing of the suit Otunba Justus Gbenga Daniel Anor v Governor of Ogun State and Others.

The court instructed Senator Daniel to provide the necessary papers in line with the government's request. The Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, representing the government, informed the court of an interlocutory injunction filed in response to the motion.

Both parties agreed to maintain the status quo and explore settlement options. The court adjourned the matter to October 13, 2025, pending further applications and the submission of required documents by the government.
