Nigeria's High Commissioner Presents Credentials in Trinidad

On July 21, 2026, Rt. Hon.

Jerrymon Samuel Manwe, the High Commissioner Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, formally presented his Letters of Credence to Her Excellency, Christine Carla Kangaloo ORTT, President of Trinidad and Tobago. The ceremony took place in Port of Spain and was attended by Mr.

Martin Nworie Eze, Deputy Head of Mission, and Mrs. Angye Dankaro, Minister Counsellor at the Nigerian High Commission.

This presentation is a significant diplomatic tradition that signifies the commencement of a Head of Mission's accreditation. The event included the signing of the Visitors’ Book, the exchange of official gifts, discussions on mutual interests, and concluded with the ceremonial departure of the High Commissioner, escorted by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Mounted Branch.
