Nigeria's Foreign Affairs Minister Presents Letters of Credence

On June 22, 2026, Sola Enikanolaiye, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, presented letters of credence to ambassadors and high commissioners designate for Trinidad and Tobago, Kenya, Equatorial Guinea, and Egypt. This presentation followed the confirmation of their appointments, with a total of 69 ambassadors appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

So far, 63 agreements have been received from various countries, including India and South Africa. The ambassadors are expected to commence their tour of duty, and the ministry remains optimistic that other countries will also convey acceptance of their ambassadorial posts.
