Presidency Defends Tinubu's Agenda Against Obi's Criticism

The Presidency has reacted to comments made by Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, regarding President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Bayo Onanuga, the presidential spokesperson, stated that Obi's criticisms are out of touch with the actual developments occurring across Nigeria.

Onanuga emphasized that the Tinubu administration's policies and programs are generating visible results in all six geopolitical zones of the country. He urged Obi to move beyond his previous political campaign and recognize the positive changes brought about by the administration.

Onanuga mentioned that the Presidential Communications Team has been actively touring the country to assess the implementation and impact of government policies, gathering feedback from citizens. He asserted that there is documented evidence of the administration's economic reforms and initiatives, including transformative projects like NELFUND, which are positively affecting Nigerians at a fundamental level.
