The Presidency has addressed concerns over the health of former Nigerian Vice President Bola Tinubu, following reports from the International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR) about preparations for his urgent medical treatment abroad. The ICIR cited a credible source claiming that the President had been bedridden for several days, missing key state functions.

The investigation also revealed that several meetings had been quietly cancelled, including one with close associates of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari within the APC. However, a presidential spokesperson dismissed the rumors, stating that the President could choose to work from home.

The source also noted that the President has not attended any public functions recently.
