President Tinubu Appoints Local Organising Committee For AFRIMA 2025 (FULL LIST)

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has endorsed the 2025 edition of the Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) by appointing a Local Organising Committee (LOC) to oversee the event scheduled to take place in Lagos from November 25 to 30. The LOC, inaugurated in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Lagos State Government, aims to deliver an outstanding edition under the theme "Unstoppable." The newly constituted LOC includes key federal ministries, strategic agencies, and delegates from the AFRIMA International Committee and the African Union.

President Tinubu's support has been praised by AFRIMA President and Executive Producer Mike Dada, who believes that Nigeria will set a new global benchmark for African entertainment with the return of the awards after a decade. The event will feature various activities such as live performances, talent discovery, and policy advisory sessions, promising a dazzling celebration of African talent and resilience.
