Tinubu Inaugurates N2 Transitway, Promises Nationwide Projects

On Tuesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu inaugurated the N2 transitway linking the Central Business District and Wuse District in Abuja. This project is part of the Federal Capital Territory Administration's (FCTA) efforts to improve infrastructure across Nigeria.

Tinubu emphasized the administration's commitment to extending similar projects nationwide to ensure inclusive development and economic growth. The N2 transitway represents a milestone in implementing the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda, prioritizing infrastructure development as a catalyst for economic improvement.

FCTA Minister Mr. Nyesom Wike highlighted the transitway as a strategic transport corridor and credited the project's progress to the removal of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) for better project financing.

The transitway, designed to accommodate both vehicular and rail transport, is part of Abuja's integrated mass transit system and will span approximately 52 kilometers in the northern section and 64 kilometers in the southern section upon full development.
