President Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Eid Holiday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, landing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 5:17 PM. He was welcomed by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, along with other senior government officials.

During the Eid al-Adha holiday, President Tinubu engaged with various groups, including the leadership of the Senate led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and members of the Nigeria Governors' Forum, chaired by Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Governor of Kwara State. He also met with the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and other stakeholders, including the APC governorship candidate for Oyo State, Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli.

Additionally, President Tinubu attended an international fleet review at Eko Atlantic City, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Nigerian Navy. He also received Romuald Wadagni, the President of the Republic of Benin, to strengthen regional cooperation.
