Tinubu Returns to Lagos After Africa Summit Engagement

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Lagos on a flight that landed at Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 7:12 PM after spending two weeks abroad. He was received by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa, and other government officials.

During his trip, President Tinubu co-hosted the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, alongside French President Emmanuel Macron and Kenyan President William Ruto. He called for reforms in global financial architecture to strengthen economic integration and prioritize Africa's growth.

Tinubu also highlighted Nigeria's potential in the blue economy and its maritime intelligence infrastructure. He held bilateral meetings with Madagascar's President Michael Randrianirina and Rwandan President Paul Kagame, engaging with multinational companies, including the International Finance Corporation and APM Terminals.

Tinubu is set to participate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections starting Saturday.
