Ibrahim confirmed that President Tinubu's address will be delivered at 10:45 AM New York time, which corresponds to approximately 2:00 PM in Nigeria.

Beyond the General Assembly, Ibrahim emphasized that President Tinubu is committed to strengthening border security across West Africa, identifying this as a priority area for collaboration between Nigeria and the United Nations. The Nigerian envoy called for immediate action to advance regional border security and expressed confidence in the UN's support for initiatives aimed at addressing cross-border and international security challenges.

Ibrahim declined to comment on whether President Tinubu would hold bilateral meetings with U.S. President Donald Trump during the assembly.
