Tinubu Launches TETFund Projects to Boost Education

President Tinubu unveiled several TETFund projects across four campuses aimed at enhancing teaching, learning, and research capabilities in Nigerian tertiary institutions. The projects include a newly constructed School of Science complex at Nasarawa State College of Education, Akwanga, featuring a reading area, library, and offices, designed to strengthen the college's capacity to train science teachers.

Additionally, the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna saw the commissioning of a remodeled Senate building and a new Biodiversity Conservation Centre, which includes a 60-seat Senate council chamber and advanced facilities for academic studies. In Jigawa State, a new classroom complex was inaugurated at Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaur, to address classroom shortages.

Furthermore, a student hostel at Zungur University, Gadau Campus, Bauchi State, was completed at a cost of N738.96 million to improve student welfare. President Tinubu commended the leadership of TETFund and urged proper maintenance of the facilities for long-term benefits.
