Tinubu Calls for Return of Diaspora Doctors to Nigeria

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu called on diaspora doctors to return to Nigeria during a meeting with members of the Nigerian Diaspora Medical Associations, led by Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), at the State House in Abuja. He stated that his administration is dedicated to the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda, aiming to create an environment conducive for Nigerians to thrive and contribute to national development.

President Tinubu asserted that poverty is unacceptable and detrimental to the nation's growth, emphasizing Nigeria's capacity to overcome challenges through collective efforts, improved education, better healthcare, sustained development, and economic prosperity. He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening democratic governance, noting that Nigeria's diversity is a national asset that should be harnessed for sustainable development.

The President expressed confidence in Nigeria's evolving democratic journey, asserting that the country is on the path to lasting stability, prosperity, and national renewal.
