O’tega Ogra Elected President of ADVAN for 2026-2028

O’tega Ogra, serving as the Senior Special Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Digital/New Media, has been elected as the President of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) for the 2026–2028 term. The election took place during the association’s Annual General Meeting on July 23, 2026, in Lagos, Nigeria.

The new Executive Council includes Gloria Nwabuike as First Vice President, Maurice Igugu as Second Vice President, Seni Ogunkola as Treasurer, and Adeola Amosun as Publicity Director, among others. Ogra expressed gratitude for the trust placed in the new leadership and committed to an inclusive and results-driven administration.

He emphasized the need to strengthen ADVAN's role as the leading voice for advertisers and marketing professionals in Nigeria, focusing on capacity development, collaboration within the marketing ecosystem, and engagement with regulators. Plans include establishing an ADVAN Institute of Marketing and Brand Leadership under the proposed ADVAN Business School.
