Geneith Health Competition Launches with 1 Billion Naira Prize

The Geneith Health Competition (GHC) has officially launched, inviting participation from prestigious educational institutions across Nigeria, including Denni Memorial Grammar School in Onitsha, St. Patrick's College in Asaba, and Muwanshat International Academy in Jalingo.

The competition, managed by CEOAfrica and sponsored by Geneith Pharmaceutical Limited, features a prize pool of 1 billion naira aimed at promoting public health awareness, particularly concerning malaria. Cletu Sundai Iloabanafor, the Managing Director of CEOAfrica, noted the growing participation of schools, indicating a national embrace of educational solutions to public health challenges.

The competition will unfold in three stages: online qualifying exams, state competitions, and ultimately a grand national final scheduled for October 30, 2026. Chief Emmanuel Umenwa emphasized the importance of Nigerian youth in championing healthier communities, while Abduljalilu Sani Garba commended the commitment to academic excellence observed during school visits.

The initiative seeks to inspire students to become health advocates within their communities.
