APC's Akeem Amosun Calls for Unity in Ogun Primaries

Akeem Amosun, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), called for unity among party members in Ogun State during a political gathering held in Abeokuta. He urged members to rally behind Shuiab Salisu ahead of the senatorial primary elections scheduled for May 18, 2026.

Amosun stressed the importance of discipline and unity within the party, noting that these factors are crucial for securing victory. He highlighted the need for a peaceful electoral process and encouraged APC members across Ogun Central senatorial district to ensure overwhelming support for Salisu at the polls.

Amosun also referenced the commitment shown by party members during previous internal alignments, including their support for Hon. Afolabi Afuap.

He described Salisu as a loyal and experienced member of the party, capable of effectively representing Ogun Central in the Senate. The gathering reportedly drew enthusiastic support, with attendees pledging to mobilize votes for Salisu's candidacy.
