Prime Suspect In NSCDC Officer’s Death Falls, Dies
A man suspected of involvement in the killing of a Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) officer in Jigawa State has reportedly fallen from a moving vehicle and died. The spokesman for the NSCDC command, ASC Badaruddeen Tijjani, announced the incident yesterday.
The officer, Bashir, was killed by a suspected hoodlum at the Shuwarin market in the Kiyawa local government area while on official duty. The suspect, a resident of Shuwarin Town, was arrested but managed to escape from custody while being transported to the command headquarters.
