NSCDC Provides ₦900,000 Support To Family Of Slain Officer In Jigawa

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa State has provided a donation of ₦900,000 to the family of a slain officer. The Commandant of NSCDC, CC Bodinga, presented the donation to the deceased officer's wife during an event marking his 100 days in office at the Command headquarters in Dutse.

The officer, Jibrin, was attacked and killed by a hoodlum at Shiwarin market in Kiyawa Local Government Area. Bodinga expressed that the gesture was aimed at supporting the bereaved family and assisting in the upkeep of the officer's child.

He commended the late officer for his selfless service and sacrifice, stating that he had paid the supreme price in the line of duty. The widow, visibly emotional, expressed appreciation for the support and promised to utilize it appropriately, particularly for the child's education and welfare.
