Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's First Australia Visit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in Australia on Tuesday for their first visit since stepping back from royal duties in 2020. The couple's four-day trip includes charity events, starting with a visit to a children's hospital in Melbourne.

They are also scheduled to attend a summit focused on mental health, with tickets priced at AUD 997. Meghan will participate in a wellness weekend at the InterContinental Coogee Beach Hotel in Sydney, featuring yoga, sound healing, and a dinner disco, with ticket prices at AUD 2,699 per person.

This visit has already attracted criticism from Jess Wilson, the leader of the opposition in Victoria, who condemned the use of U.S. taxpayer money to protect the couple. Their last trip to Australia was in 2018, during which they toured Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.

The couple has two children and has previously expressed concerns over media intrusion, particularly regarding Meghan's treatment by British newspapers.
