Baba Ijesha Claims Princess Tried to Silence Him in Prison

Olanrewaju Omiyinka, a Nollywood actor popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has publicly addressed his prison experience following his conviction for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old foster daughter of his colleague, Damilola Adekoya, also known as Princess. Baba Ijesha was sentenced to serve a five-year term at Kirikiri Prison, with his release scheduled for November 2025.

In his first statement since incarceration, he described Princess as a "devil" and alleged that she instructed others to silence him and prevent his voice from being heard. He characterized the incident as a setup against him, expressing his feelings of betrayal and warning his fans and friends to be cautious.

The case has drawn significant media attention, highlighting issues of sexual assault and the complexities of relationships within the entertainment industry.
