Pro-Nnamdi Kanu Group Plans Mass Protest in Aba

A pro-Nnamdi Kanu group is set to hold a mass protest in Aba, Abia State, on March 12, 2026, demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), who is currently serving a life sentence. The protest, described as a "million march," is organized by a coalition of supporters who have urged citizens across the region to converge peacefully in Aba.

Obinna Ichita, a former member of the Abia State House of Assembly, has appealed for participation while emphasizing the need for peaceful conduct during the protest.
