Pro-Wike Faction Claims Control of PDP Headquarters

The pro-Wike faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) announced on Saturday that they have taken over the party's headquarters. This development follows a court ruling on March 9, 2026, by the Abuja Court of Appeal, which settled a dispute in favor of Wike's camp, nullifying a previous situation from November 16, 2025, when the party's secretariat was sealed by the police due to clashes between factions.

The faction, led by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, emphasized the importance of adhering to the court's order and expressed their commitment to maintaining peace within the party. They cautioned against any actions that could obstruct or disrupt the peace at the secretariat and urged all members to conduct themselves within the law.

The faction's leadership, including Abdulrahman Moham and Sam Anyawu, reassured members amidst recent challenges and called for unity to address collective interests within the party.
