Nnamdi Kanu's Defense Team Slams Legal Proceedings as Charade Amid Transfer Request

Nnamdi Kanu's defense team has condemned the legal proceedings surrounding his transfer request from Sokoto prison as a charade. The defense consortium highlighted issues such as Kanu being denied access to his chosen legal team, leading to a lack of fair representation.

The defense team criticized the court for assigning a lawyer from the Legal Aid Council without Kanu's consent. Kanu, a leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is currently serving a life sentence in Sokoto.

The defense team emphasized that the legal process has been manipulated to deny Kanu a fair trial and access to justice.
