Nasarawa Governorship Aspirant Urges Peaceful Voting

Prof. Mohammad Sani Haruna, a governorship aspirant from the All Progressives Congress (APC), addressed his supporters during a rally in Akwanga, Nasarawa State.

He called for vigilance among voters to ensure that every valid vote is counted and urged supporters to maintain peace and order throughout the electoral process. Haruna emphasized the need for a peaceful political contest, stating that violence and intimidation could disrupt the electoral process.

He encouraged party members and residents to embrace tolerance and coexist peacefully, despite ethnic, religious, and cultural differences, viewing these diversities as strengths rather than divisions. Haruna's message underscored the importance of serving the state's interests without resorting to conflict, insisting that no one’s blood should be shed over political disagreements.

He reiterated the significance of mutual understanding and unity for the progress and development of Nasarawa State.
