Kano Muslims Protest Against Khamenei's Death in Attack

On a recent Sunday, thousands of Muslims took to the streets of Kano to protest the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, in a joint attack by the United States and Israel on Tehran. The protest, which saw participants dressed in black, began after the Jumaat prayers at the Kofar Waika metropolitan area.

Demonstrators waved Iranian flags and held photographs of Khamenei, condemning the attack. Imam Umar Kurna, speaking on behalf of the Islam Movement of Nigeria (IMN), extolled Khamenei as an honorable leader and a protector of the Islamic cause, asserting that his gruesome murder would be judged by history.

The protest concluded with a special prayer session organized at the Islam Center, seeking divine intervention in the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
