Proton Security Urges Travel Safety for Eid and Easter

Proton Security Services has issued a warning to businesses and the public regarding travel safety as Nigeria approaches the peak travel periods of Eid-el-Fitr and Easter. With millions expected to travel across major highways and urban centers, the company emphasizes the heightened risks associated with increased vehicular movement during this festive time.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) reports thousands of road traffic crashes annually during these periods, often exacerbated by long-distance travel and night driving. Mr.

Adekunmi Odebunmi, Managing Director of Proton Security Services, stresses the importance of establishing clear travel guidelines, including approved routes, mandatory vehicle checks, and the use of personnel escorts along high-risk corridors. The company advises organizations to monitor staff movements and maintain regular communication to minimize risks.
