Jigawa Anti-Corruption Agency Urges Public Support for Fighting Corruption

The Jigawa State Public Complaint Anti-Corruption Commission (JSPCACC) chairman, Barrister Salisu Abdu, urged the public to provide concrete information to aid the agency's efforts in ensuring a corruption-free society. The commission has received a total of 479 complaints since its inception in 2023, with 110 cases involving corrupt financial crimes.

Abdu disclosed successful recovery of over N385 million from government, private individuals, and corporate entities. The commission has filed prosecutions for 20 cases in various courts, emphasizing the importance of swift justice in combating corruption.
