PRP Denies Selling Nomination Forms to Kwankwaso

The People's Redemption Party (PRP) has refuted claims that it sold nomination forms to former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for the vice presidential candidacy under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). Abdulkadir Musa Guza, the chairman of the party's Northwest Stakeholders Forum, alleged that Kwankwaso purchased the nomination form and hijacked the party's platform.

However, Alhaji Musa Maigari, the PRP state secretary, clarified during a press briefing in Kano that Kwankwaso is not a member of the party and that there are no records of any transaction involving nomination forms. Maigari described the allegations as laughable, especially at a time when the party is preparing for primary elections.

He urged the public to disregard what he termed baseless rumors and to rely on official communications from the party.
