PRP Denies Selling Nomination Forms to Kwankwaso

The People's Redemption Party (PRP) has refuted claims made by Abdulkadir Guza that it sold 69 nomination forms to former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in an attempt to take over the party ahead of the 2027 general elections. Musa Maigari, the party's secretary, stated in an interview that Kwankwaso is not a member of the PRP and that the nomination process has already concluded.

Maigari described Guza's allegations as unfounded and lacking credibility, emphasizing that all electoral positions within the party have been filled through completed primaries. He noted that the claims raised questions about the credibility of the individual making them, as he is not affiliated with the party.

Maigari urged the public to disregard these baseless rumors and advised party supporters to rely on official communications from the party's channels. As of the time of the report, Kwankwaso's camp had not issued an official response to the allegations made by Guza.
