Prudential Sports Enrolls 1,000 Retired Athletes in Health Insurance Scheme in Gombe

Prudential Sports, led by CEO Mallam Farouk Yarma, enrolled 1,000 retired athletes and their families in a Health Insurance Scheme during the Prudential Sports Football Award Ceremony in Gombe. The company presented a cheque of N7.6 million to support the initiative.

The event aimed to promote sports development, empower young talent, and honor Nigeria's sports legends. Former sprinter Mari Onyali highlighted the importance of investing in school sports as a tool to recruit and nurture young athletes for international competitions.

She urged stakeholders to focus on discovering talent at the grassroots level.
