Achraf Hakimi to Face Trial Over Rape Allegation

Achraf Hakimi, the Moroccan captain and player for Paris Saint-Germain, is facing trial after a rape allegation made by a woman who accused him of assaulting her at his home in Paris in 2023 when she was 24 years old. The public prosecutor's office in Nanterre, a western suburb of Paris, initiated preliminary investigations in March 2023.

Following these investigations, they concluded that there is sufficient evidence to justify a trial against Hakimi. He has publicly denied the allegations, asserting his innocence and expressing confidence that the trial will reveal the truth.

As of now, no date has been set for the trial.
