Qatar Foundation Backs Remi Tinubu's Plan to Support Almajiri Children in Nigeria

Senator Remi Tinubu of Nigeria met with Sheika Moza bint Nasser Al Missn, the founder of Qatar Foundation, to discuss support for educational interventions for 15 million school children in Nigeria. The plan involves transforming the Almajiri education system to integrate Islamic and formal education, providing a safe learning environment, and incorporating life skills training.

The Qatar Foundation will collaborate with the Nigerian Ministry of Education to train teachers and handlers for the new system.
