Qatar Medical Centre (QMC) has detailed the requirements for individuals and families seeking a treatment visa in Qatar. The visa process places the responsibility of attendance and compliance on the applicants, with access to QMC restricted to them.

Staff at Qatar Visa Centres (QVC) do not decide visa outcomes or provide immigration advice; all applications are assessed by Qatar's Ministry of Interior. Applicants must undergo an initial medical fitness check, including X-rays, blood tests, and doctor evaluations.

If any abnormalities are found, further testing is required. Completing these follow-up steps does not guarantee visa approval, as the Ministry retains the authority to reject applications even after all medical requirements are met.

Applicants must provide a working phone number and email address for appointment confirmations, which are sent via SMS and email. Entry to the medical centre for follow-up visits is only allowed with a confirmed appointment.

Delays may occur if additional medical investigations are necessary.
