QNET Praises NSCDC for Combating Human Trafficking

QNET issued a press release commending the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for their recent operations in Lagos State, which led to the rescue of several individuals and the arrest of suspects allegedly involved in human trafficking and fraudulent activities. QNET unequivocally condemned human trafficking and fraud, emphasizing its commitment to safety and welfare.

The company clarified that it does not provide overseas job placement, visa services, or financial guarantees, and warned the public against fraudulent schemes misusing its name. Cyriacu Nnaji, the General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa at QNET, reiterated the company's stance on not offering overseas employment opportunities.

QNET has a strict zero tolerance policy towards fraud and unethical conduct and has been collaborating with government institutions and law enforcement to combat scams. The company launched an anti-fraud campaign in November 2023 in partnership with the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency and has similar initiatives in Ghana, Senegal, Burkina Faso, and Sierra Leone.
